Clever Andy Torrance
A Short Story

Andy Torrance had always hated deprived Oxford with its watery, wild waters. It was a place where he felt angry.

He was a clever, brutal, brandy drinker with pointy lips and ruddy feet. His friends saw him as an abundant, adorable animal. Once, he had even jumped into a river and saved a fancy puppy. That's the sort of man he was.

Andy walked over to the window and reflected on his pretty surroundings. The sleet rained like rampaging horses.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Roy Raymond. Roy was a killing mode animal with ginger lips and squat feet.

Andy gul###. He was not prepared for Roy.

As Andy step### outside and Roy came closer, he could see the shrill glint in his eye.

"I am here because I want affection," Roy bellowed, in a happy cuz he killed someone tone. He slammed his fist against Andy's chest, with the force of 2014 elephants. "I frigging love you, Andy Torrance."

Andy looked back, even more sad and still fingering the tiny banana. "Roy, I ate your puppy," he replied.

They looked at each other with lonely feelings, like two pongy, panicky puppies smiling at a very sad accident, which had jazz music playing in the background and two hateful uncles shouting to the beat.

Suddenly, Roy lunged forward and tried to punch Andy in the face. Quickly, Andy grabbed the tiny banana and brought it down on Roy's skull.

Roy's ginger lips trembled and his squat feet wobbled. He looked killing mode, his body raw like a kaleidoscopic, keen kettle.

Then he let out an agonising groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later Roy Raymond was dead.

Andy Torrance went back inside and made himself a nice glass of brandy.
