If someone changed their username, their profile should have their old username/s visible by hovering over an icon.
( this option can be toggled)

I agree. They should also make it to where you can't make or change your name to someone else's old username, to prevent people from impersonating and allowing them to change it back without worrying that their old username was taken by someone else.
