I have this Windows Vista VM. Nothing much, just play around with it to see how it changed over the years. When I try to use Novetus, it says I need net framework. When I install it (i tried both web and offline), it didn't work. Today, I used the offline installer it came with, and it didn't work. I checked event logs to see you needed to restart, and restarting did nothing. Remember, it's the offline installer. I tried again to see that IT WAS TRYING TO CONNECT TO THE INTERNET. It tried to go to a website to do some stuff, and the installer didn't work after restarting. I turned the internet connection off, and SURPRISE SUPRISE! IT INSTALLED! How misleading, that was not a offline installer! Part of it.
