As we ran to Apple's house. We noticed how truly dark it was. Now, I have a fear of the dark, but luckily Limey has a torch on him all the time, because he's as scared as me.

When we got to Apple's house, we heard a LOT of clicking. So we shouted for her to come down. She only opened the door for us and told us to come in. So we did.

In her room was her computer, connected to wires, and lots of them. She told us we were going to the middle of no-where without our parents knowing. We're just kids, but she said before everyone went, she heard a loud thump.

"Metal against dirt. What was that?" She said.
"Sounds like Earth to Echo. Might just be rubble." Lime said.
"But it can't be if it was that loud, it's got to be hollow. Trust me, I'm older than you." I said.
"But I'm older than YOU so I get to be the judge. But Lemon's correct. It's hollow."

That was around the time we heard rustling. Then a shadow.

Of course, it was just our dark versions. We have dark versions, and they're kinda our opposites?

"What in the name of the sun were you doing?" I said
"Alright, it's dark. That means it's night. That means it's our morning. We discussed this months ago, idiot!" said my opposite.
"But why are we all so tired?" said Dark Limey
"It's not night, it's the sun vanishing. And we're actually being serious, realized all your neighbors are gone?" said Apple.
"WAIT WH-" said the dark ones, almost finishing their sentence.

"We're going somewhere, I don't know where, but we're going. And you have to come with us, remember?" said Limey.

And so we left, in the direction that Apple's metal detecting compass took us.

Then we found something, something amazingly impossible.

"Is that what I think it is?" I said.
