“Let’s go for blue,” Roubous declares confidently.
RedFlame gives a slight frown as Roubous takes the device from Artfvlly, proceeding to press the button. When he does, the device opens up, revealing something like a camera lense protuding out. A glowing, light blue portal shoots out.
“Any volunteers?” Saq asks.
“Why not you go first?” SilentWolf says. “What if I can’t come back?” Saq whispers.
“You’ll probably be able to,” RedFlame says. “It’s logic.”
“What if it closes??”
“It probably won’t.”
“Saq, I’ll come with you,”
All heads are turned toward Roubous, who has now made the decision to enter the portal with Saq.
“O-ok.” stammers Saq, still scared.
“I’m worried too,” Roubous says, “but it’s the only way to find out what’s on the other side.”
“Please come back,” RedFlame says.
“We will!” Saq says.
Roubous runs back to his house and grabs a backpack with camping gear, food, a phone, notebook and pencils.
“I’ll record anything we find,” he says.
“Well...this is it.” SilentWolf says. “Hope you find something awesome on the other side.”
Roubous and Saq wave as they step into the portal.
By the time the sun has set, they have not returned.
“Should we call them?” RedFlame asks.
“Let’s,” Artfvlly says, taking his phone and calling them.
“Hey, Art! Do you need us?” Saq answers.
“Just checking if you’re alright.”
“We’re good, thanks. We’ve settled down, and we’re deciding on what to do to-morrow.”Roubous says.
“Okay,” Artfvlly says.
“You guys should come over! We can venture together.” Saq says, sounding excited.
“Maybe we should.” SilentWolf says, thinking about what could be on the other side.
“Didja find anything though?” RedFlame asks.
“We didn’t find much, but we met someone. His name is pet.” Roubous says.
Should they trust pet?
