I heard in the past, EnergyCell has tried to take info from people through their accounts and such, is this true?

while i am no place to give you an answer or comment on EC's history, i personally feel the Cubash is a new start for EC (if all the things people say are true, that being said)

Ever since I saw the video about EnergyCell made by 'an emulator I will not name as I will get banned', I've been a little concerned about this site. Seems innocent though.

Well, when you installed the GT client, you would be told to give it access to some sort of network. Although Energy said this was to make the game run, it instead sent your IP address to him. Not saying this is true, just what I heard from a video.

Although you have all made good points, still a bit sceptical. I hope Energy an say something because I want to like this site.
