For the last ~40 years, a genre entitled garage rock has made a comeback. This genre, originally flourishing in the 1960's, has its roots in attempting to sound like amateur bands playing out of their garage. ya

The first band I'd like to point out is FIDLAR, which is a band I got into for a short period of time. I no longer listen to FIDLAR.

This is 40oz. On Repeat by FIDLAR. Keep in mind that there is actually a couple short instances where it briefly becomes visually PG-13.

Notice how it's comprised of one drummer and three guitarists.

This is Fifteen Minutes by Mike Krol. Mike Krol is the first garage rock uhh.. I don't know if he's by himself or with the lads. In a live thing it was him and two others, so I'll refer to it as a band. Still strange, though.

I do not listen to Mike Krol, either. He's partially been tainted since I now dislike Steven Universe and partially because I don't like who I was when I was a fan. This is the most "garage" out of the bunch. Notice how instrument-wise it's mostly drums and guitar.

This is PUP. I do like PUP quite a bit and it's in my opinion the best band here, but that's very subjective. Notice again how it's primarily just drums and guitar.
